Why Great Projects Sometimes Lose Momentum

It’s interesting how often projects start with energy and excitement.

Everyone is committed. Everyone agrees on the objective. The plan is solid.

Then reality arrives.

Another priority appears.

A deadline moves.

Someone gets pulled onto something else.

Before long, it isn’t the quality of the idea that’s in question.

It’s whether anyone still has the capacity to keep it moving.

Successful projects are not always the ones with the biggest budgets or the largest teams.

They are often the ones where someone keeps paying attention.

Momentum is a discipline.

Sometimes that makes all the difference.
